Secretariat Head Office
The CCICED Secretariat Head Office is established under China’s Department of International Cooperation of Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE). The Secretariat operates under the leadership of the department’s Secretary General.
The main responsibilities of the Secretariat include:

Organizing the CCICED Executive Committee meetings, Council Member meetings, and other high-level forums, seminars, and dialogues.

Managing CCICED’s funds.

Managing CCICED’s policy research projects.

Disseminating CCICED research findings.

Establishing, maintaining, and expanding CCICED’s partnerships.

Providing support to CCICED’s Council Members, Chief Advisors, and Special Advisors.

Developing capacity building programs on environment and development for Chinese senior officials.
