The 2021 Annual General Meeting of the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development (CCICED) will be held on September 7-10.
At the opening session on September 7, a Plenary Meeting will listen to the introduction of the CCICED Issues Paper and the CCICED draft Policy Recommendations.
SPS research findings will be presented during the policy research dialogue session on September 8; SPS research outcomes will be released via live-stream on September 10.
In addition, seven open forums will be held during the meeting, focusing on global and domestic hot topics, including Ecological Civilization: Building a Harmonious and Beautiful World for All, Implementing the 2030/2060 Carbon Targets and Empowering a High-Quality Development, Green BRI and 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, Carbon Neutrality: the Role of Ocean, Technological Innovation Driven by Carbon Neutrality, From Biodiversity to Climate Change: Gathering New Impetus of Global Green Value Chains, and Managing River Areas in times of Climate Change.
