2026 CCICED Annual General Meeting

The 2026 CCICED Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held in Beijing, China, on September 27–29 in Beijing, China, on the theme “Pragmatic and Innovative Cooperation, Advancing Together for Green Development.”

The AGM is the flagship event in CCICED’s calendar, gathering its global community of environmental leaders, experts, policy-makers, and researchers to discuss findings from this year’s research and distil them into policy recommendations to China’s government.

In addition, the 2026 AGM will cover the policy advice, final report, and thematic reports of CCICED’s High-Level Task Force, a one-off project tasked to review the country’s past experiences and assess opportunities and challenges for China to deliver on its 2035 and 2060 environmental targets.

In advance of the AGM, a site visit to Shanxi Province will be organized for CCICED Members and Special Advisors, offering an opportunity to get a first-hand experience of China’s green transition efforts.
