The 6th International Climate Change Adaptation Conference (Adaptation Futures Conference) will take place on the theme “Accelerating Adaptation Action and Knowledge to Support Action.” The Conference was originally scheduled to take place from 27-30 April 2020, but it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The sixth International Climate Change Adaptation Conference will have a particular focus on Asia. It will seek to explore this theme through five tracks: Adaptation and Development: Synergies and Trade-offs; Catalyzing Adaptation: Finance; Institutions for Just Adaptive Management; Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning; and Local Action and Knowledge Sharing.

The first Asian edition of the biennial conference is co-hosted by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) and the World Adaptation Science Program (WASP).
