UN Development Cooperation Forum 2023

March 14th - 15th, 2023 New York, USA

Description

The 8th biennial high-level meeting of the Development Cooperation Forum (DCF) will take place in March 2023. It will address frontier issues and emerging challenges and seek to refine ideas for scaling up high-quality and high-impact development cooperation for immediate-term recovery and long-term resilience building.

The DCF is convened by the President of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and is the principal global platform for policy dialogue on development cooperation. It has a critical role to play in adapting development cooperation to the changing global environment and evolving country needs and priorities, and fosters policy dialogue on South-South and Triangular Cooperation at the national and local (city-to-city) levels. Outcomes of the high-level meeting will feed into the 2023 Financing for Development (FfD) Forum and 2023 High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF).
