Good City Models under the Concept of Ecological Civilization

China’s urbanization will continue to be at an enormous scale, characterized by quick changes and a short window to implement policies. This development places a great burden on environmental and natural resources in and outside China. At the same time, it offers the opportunity to apply the best insights about how to reach an Ecological Civilization and a Beautiful China. This Special Policy Study analyzes the key challenges China faces in working towards an Ecological Civilization, in the light of international experiences.
