Saugestad is Executive Vice President at Storebrand Asset Management. He has extensive experience from the financial sector including serving as Head of Research at Christiana Markets, Partner at Marsoft Capital, and Sector Head Equities Energy/Shipping in Handelsbanken Markets.

He joined Storebrand Asset Management in 1999 as Senior Portfolio Manager and was promoted to Chief Investment Officer in 2006. In 2015, Saugestad took on the position of Executive Vice President. Saugestad has an MBA and MSc from NTNU and an MBA from INSEAD in France.
