Pete Harrison is a CCICED Council Member and Executive Vice President for Regions at EDF, where he integrates the organization’s mission across China, India, Europe, and the United States.

Based in Brussels, he has over a decade of climate policy leadership. He previously served as Executive Director for EU Policy at the European Climate Foundation (ECF), where he led initiatives to secure the EU Green Deal and accelerate the transition to e-mobility.

Mr. Harrison’s systems-thinking approach to climate action draws from over ten years as an award-winning international correspondent for Thomson Reuters. He also serves as Vice Chair of the Buildings Performance Institute Europe and sits on the sustainability board of SkyNRG. He began his career as a marine ecologist and is an avid ocean enthusiast and scuba instructor.
