Hongjun Zhang is Chair of the Board at Energy Foundation China. He advises multinational companies, trade associations, and non-profit organizations on Chinese legal and policy issues across environment, energy, and investment.

Previously, Hongjun has served as a Partner at Holland and Knight LLP and as a legislative director in China’s National People’s Congress. In this position, he was responsible for drafting several of China’s environmental laws, including on air pollution prevention and control, energy conservation, and cleaner production.

Hongjun has undergraduate and graduate degrees from Peking University, as well as law degrees from Peking University and Harvard Law School.
