Arthur Hanson

Council Member, CCICED Senior Advisor and Former President of International Institute for Sustainable Development

Much of Dr. Hanson’s work on environment and development policies has taken place in North America and Asia, especially Indonesia and China. He was a Professor and Director of the School for Resource and Environmental Studies at Dalhousie University in Canada; Prior to that he worked with the Ford Foundation in Indonesia. Dr. Hanson trained as an ecologist, with a PhD from the University of Michigan. He has also served as a member of the CCICED Council during Phase I, II, III ´╝îIV and V.
