Hideki Minamikawa

Council Member, CCICED President, Japan Environmental Sanitation Center; Former Vice Minister, Ministry of the Environment, Government of Japan

Mr. Minamikawa joined the Environment Agency (Ministry of the Environment since 2000) in 1974. Before assuming his present position, he was in charge of international negotiations on biodiversity (CBD COP10) and climate change (UNFCCC COP16) as the Vice-Minister for International Environmental Affairs.
