Kate Hampton

CEO, Children’s Investment Fund Foundation UK Council Member, CCICED

Hampton is the CEO of the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF). She has held the role since 2016. Prior to that, she ran CIFF’s climate change team. 

In addition to her role with CCICED, Hampton currently holds board and advisory roles with the European Climate Foundation, Observer Research Foundation in India, the China Advisory Group on Global Climate Governance, Open Political Economy Network, the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment at Oxford University, We Protect Global Alliance, Friends of COP26, and Unilever’s Sustainable Living Plan Advisory Council. 

In 2008, Hampton was named a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader. She holds a bachelor of science degree from the London School of Economics and a master’s degree in public policy from the Harvard Kennedy School.
