Li Gao is the Vice Minister and a member of the Leading Party Members Group of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People’s Republic of China.

Holding a PhD from Tsinghua University and a Master’s from Yale University, he has extensive experience in coordinating China’s national climate strategies, leading international negotiations, and overseeing the development of the national carbon emission trading market.
