Ms. Ongering was appointed Secretary-General of the same ministry on 15 June 2015. She studied public administration at the Technical University of Twente and after graduating worked as a civil servant at the municipality of The Hague and the accountancy and consultancy company Coopers & Lybrand , before she started working as a civil servant at the government.
