Galit Cohen

Cohen is Director of Climate Change and National Security at the Israel Institute for National Security Studies. 

She has previously served as Senior Deputy Director-General at Israel’s Environmental Protection Ministry in the areas of planning, policy, and strategy. Cohen’s policy experience spans climate change, environment, and green construction, as well as green innovation and the intersection of environmental regulation with the financial sector.

Cohen holds a M.A. degree in geography, specializing in environmental planning and policy management, from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
