Knut Alfsen is the CEO of his company Alfsen Consulting, Senior Advisor to Accrona AS, and Special Advisor to CCICED. Since 2011, he has been a member of the Chief Advisor’s Group to CCICED. Previous positions include Director of Research at Statistics Norway, Director of Research at the Institute for Energy Technology (IFE) in Norway, and Director and Head Research Director of CICERO. He has a PhD in theoretical physics from the University of Oslo and has worked as an environmental economist most of his carrier.
