Lana Edwards serves as the Acting Director General of Bilateral Affairs and Trade at Environment and Climate Change Canada. She joined CCICED as a Special Advisor in July 2025.

Edwards has previously worked as a Foreign Service Officer for Canada’s government, as an Asia Analyst for the Privy Council Office, and as a Political and Economic Affairs Consul in the General Consulate of Canada in Mumbai, India.
