Wang is currently the president of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment’s Environmental Planning Institute. He is mainly engaged in environmental planning and policy research. Wang is an expert and thematic group leader of major national science and technology water projects, focusing on the causes and treatment of heavy air pollution.
