Lin Zhu

Team Coordinator Research and Project Coordinator at Global China Initiative, Boston University

Zhu is the Research and Project Coordinator at the Global China Initiative, a project run by the Boston University Global Development Policy Center. Prior to this, Zhu worked at New York University Shanghai as a Global Writing and Speaking Fellow. She is a contributor to the People’s Map of Global China and the China Made Project.

Zhu’s expertise spans the political economy and political ecology of Global China. Her recent research explores Chinese mining investment in Central Peru. Lin holds an M.A. in Human Geography from the University of Colorado Boulder and a B.A. in Geography and Anthropology from Sarah Lawrence College.
