Positions: Professor of International Energy and Climate Change Policy at University College London – Institute of Sustainable Resources; and Chair of UK Panel of Technical Experts on Energy Market Reform, after five years as Senior Advisor to the UK Energy Regulator Ofgem. Founding Editor and Editor-in-chief of the journal Climate Policy (2000-2016), and served on the UK Climate Change Committee. Former positions include Chief Economist at the Carbon Trust (2001-2009) alongside Senior Research Associate position at Cambridge University ; Chair and Board of the international research network Climate Strategies; Professor at Imperial College London; and head of Energy and Environment at Chatham House.
