Ren Yong currently serves as Director of the Environmental Development Center at China’s Ministry of Ecology and Environment. He is a CCICED Council Member and expert team lead of CCICED’s High-Level Task Force.

Prior to his current position, Ren was Director of the Environmental and Economic Policy Research Center of China’s Ministry of Environmental Protection. He is also a member of UNEP’s Sustainable Resources Management Committee.
