Prior to his current position, Mr. Ren was the former Director of the Environmental and Economic Policy Research Center of the Ministry of Environmental Protection. He is also the chief researcher of the Japan Institute for Global Environmental Strategy and concurrently a member of the United Nations Environment Programme’s Sustainable Resources Management Committee.
