43rd Meeting of the Open-ended Working Group of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol (OEWG43): CFC-11 and Energy Efficiency

The 43rd meeting of the Open-ended Working Group of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol (OEWG43) will be held in three parts. The second and third parts will focus on unexpected emissions of CFC-11 and energy efficiency, respectively.

The technical meeting on unexpected emissions of CFC-11 will be held during the second part of OEWG43. The technical meeting will comprise two identical sessions focusing on the reports of the Scientific Assessment Panel (SAP) and the Technology and Economic Assessment Panel (TEAP). The SAP will also provide a brief relating to the identification of gaps in the atmospheric monitoring of controlled substances.

The meeting on energy efficiency will be held during the third part of OEWG43. The meeting will focus on the TEAP presentation of its September 2020 report on energy efficiency.
