Description
The 2023 Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development will take place ahead of the High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) 2023. It aims to play a unique role as a catalyzer of solutions and peer learning on how to accelerate transformations for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development while recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Organized by the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), the Forum will provide the space for an in-depth review of the Goals to be reviewed by the HLPF in 2023: SDG 6 (clean water and sanitization); SDG 7 (affordable and clean energy); SDG 9 (industry, innovation and infrastructure); SDG 11 (sustainable cities and communities), and SDG 17 (partnerships for the Goals).
