The Belt and Road Forum on Green Finance and Low-carbon Development will be held on May 25, 2021 (GMT +8). The event is jointly organized by the BRI International Green Development Coalition (BRIGC) and CICC Global Institute (CGI) in the form of an on-site meeting at the China World Hotel Beijing and a Webinar platform.
This forum aims to discuss the implications of carbon neutrality to a Green Silk Road and effective tools such as green finance to boost BRI green and low-carbon development and release selected research reports produced by BRIGC and CGI. The event will provide an open platform for communications. Policymakers, scholars, and industrial experts from China and overseas will share their insights into the high-quality development of the Green Silk Road and potential market opportunities in the context of moving towards carbon neutrality.
