SPS Inception Meeting on Green Transition and Sustainable Social Governance

On the basis of the progress of the Task Force and under the auspice of the spirit of relevant instructions of Chinese President Xi Jinping and the latest development of the coronavirus pandemic, the TF suggests the following contents for research in 2021 in line with the requests of Chinese Co-chair Han Wenxiu as well as the comments of CCICED Chief Advisors. 

The main annual goal of this SPS is to carry out research on the strategic issues of green production and consumption in the post-epidemic era; carry out research on the construction of green consumption comprehensive index and empirical evaluation; further carry out research on the reform of the green tax system in the automobile industry; select key industrial industries for pollution control and develop industrial ecology Design policy research; conduct preliminary research on sustainable food consumption policy; focus on the above research tasks, carry out in-depth international policy experience and practical research.
