The 2025 CCICED policy recommendations provides timely and actionable advise to the Chinese Government on environmental and development issues. Drawing on key findings from this year’s Special Policy Studies and inputs from CCICED’s diverse community of experts, the policy recommendations outlines strategic actions to advance China’s low-carbon energy and industrial transition, strengthen biodiversity conservation and climate adaptation, promote a high-quality circular economy, and mobilize green finance.
The paper also provides policy recommendations to advance a just and inclusive transition in China’s traditional energy regions and green international development.
